Beautiful sterling silver watch fob with a length of silver love knot chain. It has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1920 with the makers mark J.M for John Mantle of Warstone Lane, Birmingham. The watch fob was awarded for The Greymare Hill Climb in June 1921. Love knot chain features intricate knot motifs popular in the late 19th and early 20th century as it symbolises eternal love and fidelity.
