Product Description: Ylang Ylang, also known as Flower of Flowers, is a tall tropical tree about 20 meters (60 feet) tall with big fragrant, pink, mauve, or yellow flowers; yellow heads are regarded as the best in terms of quality. There are various grades of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, which are extracted at different stages of the flower's lengthy distillation. These grades are known as Extra, I, II, and III. Ylang Ylang is ideal for usage in the fragrance and cosmetics industries. It was a common hair preparation component in Europe, known as Macassar Oil. The term anti-macassar derives from this, as an anti-macassar was used to prevent hair oil from staining upholstered furniture. In Indonesia, Ylang Ylang is traditionally sprinkled on newlyweds' mattresses.

Caution: Dilute before use; may cause skin irritation in some people; a skin test is advised before use. It can also cause sensitivity in some people, and excessive use may result in headaches and nausea. Also, avoid contact with the eyes.
