FOB FACTORY
A Japan-made brand inspired by vintage clothing, rooted in workwear, military styles, and denim. Based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture—one of Japan’s most renowned production hubs—all processes are carried out domestically. FOB FACTORY creates garments with the aim that, three years from now, the wearer will feel glad they chose them.







Recreating Japan’s First Domestically Produced Denim
Faithfully reproduced using FOB’s craftsmanship and modern looms, this fabric is based on the very first denim made in Japan in the 1940s.

By reviving the distinctive character of the era through advanced contemporary techniques, the result captures the feel of “new vintage” denim. With its slightly blue-toned hue and natural texture, it gives the jeans a refined and polished appearance.

Crafted from 13.75oz selvedge denim—a standard mid-weight fabric—it is finished with a one-wash treatment for immediate softness, allowing you to enjoy it from the first wear without the stiffness typically associated with raw denim.




Vintage-Inspired Details
The front features a zipper fly by UNIVERSAL, paired with donut buttons. Antique-finished metal hardware and carefully selected stitch colors reflect a thoughtful attention to detail.





A white flasher made from DuPont Tyvek is attached at the back and can be removed by cutting the stitching.



When the hem is rolled up, the signature selvedge detail—commonly known as “red ear”—appears. Its classic look adds a relaxed, understated character to the feet.





Comfort Without Compromise
Unlike traditional wide-cut jeans, the waist and hips are subtly tapered to eliminate bulk, giving the wide silhouette a clean and refined look.

A well-balanced rise ensures a comfortable, stress-free fit. With a fabric weight that is neither too heavy nor too light, this pair can be worn comfortably throughout the year.
