The Ming 57.04 Phoenix is a masterclass in restrained complexity, acting as the monochromatic, architectural sibling to the more flamboyant "Iris" model released 6 months prior.
While it presents a sophisticated grey facade at first glance, the watch reveals its true character through radial cutouts in the deeply dished dial, offering a glimpse of a baseplate treated with a color-shifting multiphasic coating. This creates a mesmerizing play of light and shadow, where pops of hidden color emerge and vanish as the wrist moves. The dial itself is a sculptural landscape of curved negative relief elements and significant depth, ensuring that even a "grey" watch remains visually arresting. A monopusher at 9 o'clock on the case allows for the user to start, stop, and reset the chronograph. Seconds are measured centrally on the canon pinion while the hours can be counted in the subdial below.
The reverse side reveals the uniquely configured Sellita for MING Cal. SW562.M1 now with a sculpted anthracite three-quarter plate to better match the dial side. The movement offers ~60 hours of power reserve at full wind and beats at 4Hz.
The Stainless Steel case measures 40mm x 11.85mm x 47.8mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. Furnished on the OEM grey FKM rubber strap and signed steel pin buckle. Complete with Box & Papers dated 5/8/2026.
