Inset molded panel doors open to reveal spacious interior storage with three shelves. The lower chest having two intricately carved large molded panel drawers with stylized acanthus leaves and center medallions surrounding the brass escutcheons. Original brass drop bail handles. Carved, shaped apron with center acanthus leaves motif resting on short cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes. A beautiful and rich patina accents the elegant design of this antique armoire that was originally intended for the storage of pants.
