For sale here is a bamboo rod handcrafted in Japan by Yukihito Okawa - the Miyuki Rod - 7 1/2 feet, 2/2 for a 4 weight line. This rod is perhaps the most stunning rod I've laid my hands and eyes on. Beautiful snakewood mortised grip leading down into a dramatic swelled butt. Silk wraps and intermediates done in Gossamer gold. Gold plated hardware. 5 1/8 oz. Moss jade stripping guide. Medium fast progressive action and very nice/strong caster as many of the attendees of the Henry's Fork event in June 2013 will attest to. Varnish work is perfect. This rod sells for $2400 new but since this one has a couple of tiny marks on the reel seat spacer from attaching reels during casting on the lawn, it's discounted and priced to sell.
