Suitable for RC model aircraft and boats. Do not use in carbon wings with RDS. Voltage of potentiometer on the gear must be isulated to carbon parts.


This servo features metal gears, and the potentiometer operating voltage is passed to the servo’s metal output shaft. If an aluminium control surface horn or a non-insulated RDS linkage is used with the servo, and if an electrically conductive contact with the airframe also exists - e.g. in an all-carbon model - the servos will interact with each, as the aforesaid voltage is transmitted between them. You can avoid this problem either by using a plastic control surface horn, or by insulating the servo mount in such a way that no electrical connection exists.
