The Hunter Valve Solenoid Replacement 810?1078 is a direct replacement coil for Hunter irrigation valves. Compatibility & Installation
This solenoid is compatible with most Hunter irrigation valves that accept Hunter standard solenoid coils.

If replacing an AC coil with a DC?latching coil (or vice versa), ensure the controller is compatible. For example, Hunter NODE, NODE?BT, or XC Hybrid controllers use DC?latching coils.

The valve needs to be wired correctly: common wire to black lead, station wire to red lead (for DC models). Polarity matters.

Always shut off water supply and power before beginning replacement.

The captive plunger should be handled with care during removal and installation.
