In the high altitudes of the Virunga Mountains, where the land is a vibrant emerald green, a coffee cherry ripened on the slopes of Rwanda. This cherry, nurtured by volcanic soil, carried within it the spirit of its home: a bright, complex acidity and the delicate aroma of jasmine and citrus. It was a proud descendant of the region's rich coffee tradition, destined for greatness.
Thousands of miles away, in the ancient forests of Ethiopia - the very birthplace of Coffee arabica - another cherry matured under the dappled canopy of wild trees. This held a deeper, more resonant character: notes of sweet berries, a hint of chocolate, and a full-bodied earthiness that spoke of centuries of heritage. It was the soul of coffee itself.
These two distinct fruit were harvested with care, processed with respect for their unique profiles, and shipped across the world to our passionate team. Here, the master roaster, with an artist's eye and a blenders' touch, recognized their potential not as rivals, but allies.
