Young Wine has alcohol and may only be purchased by customers 21 years of age or older.
Young Wine products cannot be shipped and must be picked up at the winery. These products are perishable and could start fermenting again under uncontrolled conditions during shipping.

Young Wine is an alternative that gives customers a chance to make wine from a variety if they can't be at the winery during the fresh juice window or to make traditional red wine with skin fermented color without having to purchase the grapes and the equipment necessary to process them. For Red varieties we crush and ferment the grapes ‘on-the skins’ before pressing to produce our young wines. Buying young wine is like buying fresh juice, but with the benefit of the extra color, professional traditional processing, etc., built in. Young Wine is also useful as a color enhancer for your blends or lighter red juices. Prices are higher and, since it is fermented, we must include the required tax on wine. We offer our customers several of our red hybrids and red vinifera varieties as young wine. 

Young wines have yeast added and maybe some enzymes. Sugar level was NOT adjusted unless noted so you may need/want to add additional sugar and/or additives such as tannins, M/L and etc.

Young red wines were fermented "on-the-skins" to get better color and other characteristics.
