Our Type III PTFE Envelope Tri-Clamp® Gaskets are designed to deliver the best of both worlds: the exceptional chemical resistance of PTFE and the flexible, resilient sealing of elastomer inserts. Engineered for sanitary process applications, these gaskets meet stringent FDA and USP Class VI requirements and are ideal for use in pharmaceutical, biotech, and food-grade systems.

Two Insert Options for Application Flexibility
Select from two filler materials based on your temperature and chemical compatibility needs:

• EPDM: Operating range -30ºF to 300ºF (-34ºC to 149ºC)

• FKM Fluoroelastomer (V-Rated): Operating range -30ºF to 400ºF (-34ºC to 204ºC)

The PTFE outer shell provides a non-stick, chemically inert surface that resists product buildup and maintains cleanliness, while the inner elastomer core ensures effective sealing under compression.
