One of the most distinctive features of the Undara Skirt is its extensive contrast binding. Each black edge is individually applied by hand, a meticulous process that takes approximately six hours to complete. Rather than hiding the construction, these graphic lines become part of the design itself, tracing the silhouette and emphasising the architectural nature of the piece.

The fluid panels move independently as the wearer walks, creating moments of volume, movement, and contrast against the more sculptural upper section of the skirt. Combined with the dramatic cut-outs and elongated ties, the result feels simultaneously organic, expressive, and slightly otherworldly.
