A well cut jacket is a timeless look and this one comes from the Swedish Army, introduced way back in 1952. As part of a work and parade uniform, this grey-brown, twill wool jacket with a tailored fit was made to look sharp. This dress jacket persisted through the Swedish Armed Forces until around 1966 when it was replaced with the M/1960 uniform.
Each visible grey button (and there's a good few of them) shows the three crowns, the Tre Kronor. Constructed in wool twill, these do not have that rough, itchy wool feeling and the interior is a soft and silky. These jackets appear to be from the same infantry branch and unit, noted by the metal insignia of crossed muskets to the collar and number 13 on the epaulettes.
For the moment we only have small-medium lad sizes but if you are a collector, really love those flat pack furniture meatballs or looking for a warm, dapper jacket, pick one up while we have them.
