Photodynamic therapy (PDT), also known as 'blue light' therapy is a two-step treatment that uses, in this case, LED light to activate a photosensitizer drug, which then destroys cancerous and precancerous cells. Yellow light LED penetrates the skin 1 - 2 mm, and can affect the epidermis and superficial dermis, stimulating wound healing and improving skin complexion.

NOTE:  If you're already taking a photosensitizer drug, please check with your doctor or health care provider to see if it's good to use PDT LED Light therapy in conjunction with the medication.
